About Samantha
Samantha has a great deal of experience in the optical industry. Having started her optics career over 8 years ago – she has since worked in both chain optometry stores and independent stores. She loves to assist people to feel confident in their glasses choices, however has a secret fondness for the testing side in optics. She loves to learn about the newest technology available for eyes and is always listening intently when the optometrists come across interesting visual issues.
Samantha spent her childhood growing up in the Pilbara region of WA and moved to Perth in her teenage years. She joined the team at David Shanahan’s on a part time basis, whilst spending her days off running around after her young family. When she isn’t optical dispensing and fulfilling her mum duties, Sam enjoys baking & dabbles as a hobby cake maker. She also enjoys reading & spending time outdoors.
