The Zakaria 53 by Pierre Eyewear is a striking fusion of classic form and modern colour. Handcrafted in France in rich CA28 tortoise shell and translucent aqua acetate.

Behind this frame is Pierre Cariven, an eyewear craftsmen who believes that true creativity means pushing boundaries while staying true to yourself. Since launching Pierre Eyewear in 2007, he has built a brand rooted in independence, artistry and care. Inspired by fashion, architecture and colour, Pierre creates each piece as a wearable work of design.

Product Care

To keep your glasses from David Shanahan Optometrists in excellent condition, follow these care instructions. Use a non-alcohol-based lens cleaning spray and the provided microfiber cloth for cleaning. Avoid water or soap, as these can cause oxidation. Always store your glasses in the provided case to prevent scratches and damage and keep them away from extreme heat to avoid warping.

Please use both hands to put on and take off your glasses to maintain alignment of the arms on your face. If the glasses become misaligned, check screws and bring in store to see our qualified optical dispensers for advice and adjustments.

For special coatings or transition lenses, follow any additional care guidelines provided by your Optometrist.
